John
John Nutter, passed away peacefully in his sleep
at Blackpool Victoria Hospital
on Wednesday 14th May 2025, aged 93 years.
John was born in
Burnley, Lancashire, attending
Burnley Grammar School where he played both football and cricket. He eventually moved to the Fylde Coast as Headmaster of Chaucer School, Fleetwood.
He was an active member of Fleetwood Golf Club serving both as President and Captain. He also was a President of Ribble Valley Seniors Golf Team.
John was a committee member
of Fleetwood Rotary Club,
Fleetwood Choral Society and Fleetwood Music Festival. He also played the baritone horn in the North Fylde Brass Band.
The loving husband of 64 years to Joyce and father to Tim and Matthew. John led a long, happy and fulfilled life.
Funeral service
at Carleton Crematorium,
2pm, Friday 13th June, followed
by a celebration of John's life
at Fleetwood Golf Club at 3pm.
