The family of Kenneth Charles Austin, known as Ken to many local Chesham and district residents, would like to announce his passing on the evening of 23rd February 2026. Ken was 90 years old and was involved with various local Chesham societies and projects over the years, including the natural history society, the Chesham society and the local council. Ken was a long-standing member of Newtown Evangelical Baptist Church, and is now
at peace with the Lord.

Ken and I were colleagues at IBM in the 1960s. I particularly recall coffee machine reminiscences of holidays that, respectively, we had spent on islands in the Hebrides. May he rest in peace.
