DUCKWORTH(nee Oxley)Betty Suddenly but peacefully in The Royal Blackburn Hospital, on December 10th, 2008 and surrounded by her loving and devoted family, Betty, aged 68 years, the very precious and adored mum of Michelle, Stephen and Karen, dearest mother in law to Julie and Mark, cherished grandma of Hollie, Lucie, Evie and Max, loving and treasured sister of Ken and Pat, Alan and Ann, also a very special Auntie Betty and friend to many who will be greatly missed.At rest in the Alderson and Horan Funeral Home. Service and cremation will be held at Burnley Cremat- orium, on Wednesday, December 17th 10.40 a.m. Family flowers only please but donations are being received in Betty's memory to a charity to be decided with cheques made payable please to Mrs K. Henderson c/o Alderson and Horan Funeral Services, 128 Rossendale Road, Burnley, Lancashire, BB11 5DH. Tel. 01282 427483.

5 years gone - but never forgotten
Mum,
How time passes so quickly - but you are always in our thoughts - and although it has been five years already never a day goes by where I don't think about you and wish you were still here to enjoy all our family parties and gatherings. Mum
It's that dreaded time of year again for me - another Mothers' Day without you.
I will be walking on Sunday with Val and Sally to train for the charity Moonwalk in May - but will be thinking of you loads as I walk around Hyde Park.
I love you and miss you every single day mum - never a day goes by when I don't think of you and wish you were still here. Especially this year - my 50th year - you would have loved my 50th birthday party with all the family together.

Belated Happy Mothers Day 2012

I'm sorry this message is a bit late but I know you'll understand that things have been difficult recently for us all and I've been trying to leave you a message since Sat 17th but the website has been down.
Another Mothers Day comes and goes without you. I went for a walk on the River Thames Path on Sunday and went near to the house I'm trying to buy (and past several pubs !!) - you would've loved it there mum.......
They say "time is a great healer" but I would have to disagree with that. As the years pass by I miss you more than ever - especially your advice and support.
I love you always, think of you often and wish we could have had many more Mothers Days together.
