Peacefully in his own home with his loving family by his side on Wednesday 14th January 2026, Eric aged 85 years. Devoted husband of 60 years to Eveline. Much loved dad to Anita, Pauline and Stephen, cherished grandad to Michael, Adam and
Emily-Grace, great grandad to Grace and Wilf and a minister of the Cornerstone Church. Eric's funeral cortege will leave from his own home on Monday, 2nd February at 9.40am for service at the Cornerstone Church, Nelson at 10.00am followed by cremation at Burnley Crematorium at 11.30am. Family flowers only, donations are being received to the Pendleside Hospice, c/o and all inquiries to Alderson and Horan Funeral Service, 128 Rossendale Road, Burnley, BB11 5DH.
