Peacefully on 10th August 2025 at Royal Blackburn Hospital, Richard Howel, aged 96 years, of Clitheroe. Husband of Beverley and formerly of the late Maxine, father of
Helen, Richard, Mark and Hilary, step-father of Catherine and Alister, grandfather to 17,
great-grandfather to 11 and brother to Gwenda Alcock (Ashbourne). Reposing in 'Peacehaven' Chapel of Rest.
A PRIVATE cremation will take place. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at Trinity Methodist Church on Wednesday
10th September at 2.30pm.
Black wear not necessary.
Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Howel, if desired, are invited for either Trinity Methodist Church or R.N.I.B. and can be left at the service or sent c/o Mrs Heather Whittaker, 2 Dorset Drive, Clitheroe BB7 2BQ.
