Peacefully, on 3rd September 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Ian, aged 50 years, the treasured son of the late Ernest and Pauline Cochrane, cherished husband of Lindsay, precious brother to Catherine and Steven, a dearly loved brother-in-law to Mark, Rachel and Leigh, a much respected son-in-law to Pauline, fond nephew to Anne, a dear cousin to Neil, and a devoted uncle to Jack and Molly.
Remembered for his kindness, humour and warmth and a great friend to many.
Ian will be deeply missed.
Ian's service will be held at Burnley Crematorium on Friday 19 September at 11.45am, followed by a wake at Finsley Gate Wharf, Burnley, BB11 2FG.
The family invite those attending to share their memories of Ian, in a memory box that will be available on the day.

Sending our deepest sympathies to your family from ours. My dad, Peter Burch, was a lifelong friend of Ernie. I was so sad to read this news about Ian. Life can be very unfair and I hope you are all looking after one another.
