Peacefully at her own home after a short illness and surrounded by family on 21st February 2026, Joan aged 79 years. The loving wife to Len, much-loved mother to Nicola, Louise and Helen, a cherished sister, mother-in-law, granny and great gran. Joan's funeral cortege will leave from her own home on Tuesday, 10th March at 12.00 noon for service at
St John the Divine Church, Cliviger at 12.30pm followed by Committal at Burnley Crematorium at 1.45pm. Family flowers only, donations are being received to The Injured Jockeys Fund and North West Air Ambulance, c/o and all enquiries to Alderson and Horan Funeral Service,
