Peacefully in the Royal Blackburn Hospital on 22nd November 2025, with her loving family by her side, Joan aged 81 years.
Beloved wife of 60 years to Ronald, much-loved mum to Kirstie and Stuart, devoted nan to Isaac, Isla, Josh,
Sophie and Nancy, loving sister to David also, a dear friend, neighbour and
parishioner who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Joan's funeral cortege
will leave from her own home on Wednesday, 17th December at 10.40am for
service at St Cuthbert's Church at 11am followed by Committal at Burnley
Crematorium at 12.15pm. Family flowers only please donations if so desired are
being received to Pendleside Hospice, c/o and all inquiries to Alderson and Horan
Funeral Service, 128 Rossendale Road, Burnley, BB11 5DH. Tel. 01282 427483.
