Peacefully on 24th October 2025 and with his loving family by his side, John aged 83 years. The dearly beloved husband of the late Barbara, much-loved and precious dad of David and Liz, dear father-in-law to Tracy; very special grandad to Harley, Harry and Ben, proud great grandad to Arthur, Matilda, Annabel and Lucas, dearest brother of Dena also a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and respected friend and neighbour who will be greatly missed. At rest in the Alderson and Horan Funeral Home. John's funeral cortege will leave from his home on Friday, 14th November at 2.10pm for service and cremation at Burnley Crematorium at 2.30pm. Family flowers only, donations are being received to CPRE, The Countryside Charity, c/o and all inquiries to Alderson and Horan Funeral Service,
