John Nutter, known locally
as Jack, passed away
peacefully in his sleep at
Blackpool Victoria Hospital on Wednesday 14th May 2025,
aged 93 years.
The loving husband of
64 years to Joyce and
father to Tim and Matthew.
John led a long and fulfilled life.
Born to Robert and Alice and
lived in Harle Syke as a boy.
John attended Burnley Grammer School and enjoyed playing both football and cricket for the
Old Boys teams.
Taught in Burnley and latterly as headmaster of Chaucer School, Fleetwood.
Funeral service at
Carleton Crematorium,
Fylde Coast at 2pm
Friday 13th June.
