Peacefully at home on 22nd April 2025, and surrounded by his loving family, John aged 89 years. The deeply loved husband of Elsie, loving father of Janet, Martin, Ben and Philip, a dear father-in-law, adored grandad and great grandad, dearly loved brother of David also, a fond uncle and respected friend of many who will be sadly missed. At rest in the Alderson and Horan Funeral Home. John's funeral cortege will leave from his home on Wednesday, 7th May at 2pm for service and cremation at Burnley Crematorium at 2.30pm. Family flowers only, donations are being received to Pendleside Hospice and Dementia UK, c/o and all inquiries to Alderson and Horan Funeral Service, 128 Rossendale Road, Burnley, BB11 5DH.
