Aged 92
It is with great sadness that we share the news of Ken's passing on 11th December 2025. A former Geography teacher at Nelson Grammar School and Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School. He was a devoted husband to Jean, a much-loved father to Chris, David and Stephen, a dear father-in-law to Cheryl and Claire, and a proud grandfather to Thomas, Katie, Luke and Jamie. Ken passed peacefully at home in Cliviger, surrounded by his family. Donations are being received in memory of Ken for Pendleside Hospice, c/o and all inquiries to Alderson and Horan Funeral Service, 128 Rossendale Road, Burnley, BB11 5DH.
