Lois Elizabeth Howat, aged 91,
of Higherford, Nelson,
died peacefully at her home on Friday 14th January
with family by her side.
She had lived in Higherford for over 40 years and was a pillar of St Thomas's Church, having been Verger for many years.
The funeral will be at
St Thomas's, Barrowford on Monday 7th February at 12.30. No flowers please but donations welcome to Pendleside Hospice c/o Helliwells Funeral Service, Stott House, Burnley Road,
Colne, BB8 8LA.
