(Madge) On Thursday, May 27th, 2010, after a short illness, Madge, a former Burnley Greengrocer on Brougham Street, died peacefully at home, aged 88 years, the dearly beloved wife of the late Harry, much loved mum of the late Penny, dear sister, sister-in-law, auntie, mother-in-law and very special nana. A wonderful person with many dear friends will be sadly missed. At rest in Fred Hamer's Funeral Home, Rawtenstall. Madge's funeral cortege will leave from the funeral home, today, Friday, June 4th at 1 p.m. for service and cremation at Burnley Crem-atorium, 1-40 p.m. Family flowers only please, but donations if so desired are being received for Lifeboat/Air Amb-ulance, c/o Fred Hamer Funeral Home, James Street, Rawtenstall, BB4 7NE.
