Mark Harrison Obituary
James Peacefully at his home on 17th September 2021, with his loving family by his side, after a short illness bravely fought, Mark aged 36 years. The dearly loved husband and best friend of Lindsey, most precious daddy of Joshua, deeply loved and youngest son of Michael and Susan, dearest son in law to Lesley and Tony Carden, very special brother to Paul, brother in law to Kirsty, Steven and Paula, a fun loving uncle, dear cousin and a much respected and well thought of friend and work colleague who will be greatly missed. At rest in the Alderson and Horan Funeral Home. Mark's funeral Service will be held at St James' Church, Briercliffe on Thursday 30th September at 1pm, followed by interment at Haggate Baptist Church. Family flowers only, donations are being received to Bowel Cancer UK or St John's Primary School, Padiham, where Joshua attends, c/o and all enquiries to Alderson and Horan Funeral Service, 128 Rossendale Rd, Burnley, BB11 5DH. I'm wishing all your family my sincere condolences at this difficult time of year. I couldn't go to your funeral last year because I was on my last round of chemo but I wish I could have gone to pay my respects. I had a glimpse into what you and your family faced last year and I'm so sorry. I want to let you know that every time I hear the Ghostbusters theme tune I'm reminded of you and your brother playing out on the driveway at Grassington Drive with you Ghostbuster toys. It's a really vivid chilhdhood memory of when we lived up there. You were also a lovely, kind boy throughout our time at primary school too. I've thought about you and your family a lot over the past 12 months - you offered me very kind words last year at a time when I was struggling with my illness. Thank you Mark and best wishes to all your family.
