Michael Thomas On January 8th, 2014, in the Royal Blackburn Hospital, Michael, aged 80 years, the dearly loved husband of Joy, much loved father of Susan and Rachel, father in law to Jim, deeply loved grandpa of Gemma and Amy, also a loving brother in law, uncle and friend who will be sadly missed. At rest in the Alderson and Horan Funeral Home. Michael's funeral cortege will leave from his home on Friday, January 17th at 1 p.m. for service in St John the Evangelist Church, Worsthorne at 1-15 p.m. followed by committal at Burnley Crema-torium, 2-20 p.m. Family flowers only please, donations if so desired to Mencap, c/o and all inquiries to Alderson and Horan Funeral Services, 128 Rossendale Road, Burnley, Tel. 01282 427483, 457452.
