Peacefully in Ash Grove Care Home on 23rd December 2025, and after a long illness, Peter aged 77 years. The deeply loved and devoted husband of Susan, much-loved and treasured dad of Jacqueline, Jennifer and the late Neil also, a dear father-in-law, cherished grandad and great grandad, dearly loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend of many. Peter's funeral cortege will leave from his home on Tuesday, 13th January at 10.30am for service and cremation at Burnley Crematorium at 10.45am. By Peter's own request no ties should be worn. Family flowers only, donations are being received to Dementia UK, c/o and all inquiries to Alderson and Horan Funeral Service, 128 Rossendale Road, Burnley, BB11 5DH.
