(née Henderson)
Susan was Joy by name and by nature. She was born in Blacko, Lancashire in 1950, achieved a BSc and PhD from Hull University.
Married Alan Dickerson in the Yorkshire Dales in 1977,
was Mum to Emily, William and Alice and Grandma to her
six grandchildren.
She moved to Dunbar in 2016
to live by the sea and was very happy there.
Susan died peacefully at
Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh on 2nd August 2025.
The funeral will be held at noon at St. Anne's Dunbar on
25th August, followed by a burial at Binning Memorial Wood.
The family have asked for donations to Unicef,
Alzheimer Scotland or
NHS Lothian Charity.
