It's now been a whole year since you left. A tumultuous year for me, so much has happened and I have so much I wish I could share with you. But for now I just want to say I miss you, I remember all the great times we had; cooking, making oh so hot chilli jam, that hot summer with you housebound with your broken ankle, days spent watching dvds upstairs. You were taken from me too soon. You will always be in my thoughts x
All my love,

I want to wish you a happy new year Peter. I know that this isn't an 'anything' new year for you now, but it has to be for me. I'm remembering all the the things we had planned; our walking holiday in Wales, our lunch in your favourite place in blakeney, our planned trip to Portugal.

I'm not going to do any of those things because I can't any more. But I'm doing new things. I've applied for jobs as far away as Bahrain. I've seen my children. I run again every day. I have bereavement counselling once a week. You left me a legacy. I don't think it will ever happen but I thank you for the thought behind it . I will still miss you forever x
