On 14th February 2025,
Ann of Buxton died peacefully at Macclesfield District General Hospital aged 84. Much loved
mum to Simon, Philip and David, mother-in-law to Claire and Anikó, grandma to Thomas, William and Finn, best friend to Flora, Janet, Joan and Margaret. There will be a private service at Macclesfield Crematorium which will be followed by a service of thanksgiving for her life at Buxton Methodist Church on Friday 7th March at 11.30am. For those wishing to attend, Ann specifically requested not to wear black but please come in brightly coloured clothes. Family flowers only, any donations for Cancer Research UK would be gratefully appreciated.

So sorry to hear of your loss - such lovely memories of your caring, clever, affectionate Mum. John and so I enjoyed our NCT classes with Ann. She was the epitome of skill, knowledge and calm. Friendships made in those classes have lasted a lifetime.

Sending love and condolences on the death of your mum and a very special person. Ann was a wonderful combination of energy, efficiency, cheerfulness and kindness. I will always be thankful for her support through the NCT classes she led when I was expecting our second child. She will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, Ann.
