C. POLLARD

Former sub-postmistress Mrs Christine Pollard (64), of Eastlands Lane, Old Church Warsop, was cremated at Mansfield, after which a service of thanksgiving was held at Warsop Parish Church.
Born at Barnsley and educated at Wombwell, Mrs Pollard had been sub-postmistress at Station Road, Sutton, for nine years until her retirement in 1995.
A member of Sutton Inner Wheel Club and Warsop Ladies' Probus Club, Mrs Pollard had enjoyed flat green bowling with Nottinghamshire Police and Retford Bowls Club and other local clubs over a number of years.
She also liked socialising with friends, European holidays with family and friends, reading and cooking and she loved spending time with her family.
Mrs Pollard, who died at her home, leaves her husband, Mr John Pollard, daughter Sarah Elizabeth and grandson Jack Lewis.

Floral tributes were from husband John and daughter Sarah. Donations totalling £1000 received in lieu of flowers are for the John Eastwood Hospice.
