crematorium, Boughton, of
Mr Douglas Simpson (80), of
The Winnings, Welbeck.
Born at Warsop, Mr Simpson
was educated at local schools
and Nottingham Art College.
He had lived locally for 58 years
and had worked as a Chartered
Architect FRIBA (Fellow of the
Royal Institute of British Architect)
retiring in 1995.
His interests included photography,
sketching, watercolours
and walking. He was also a licensed Lay Reader and a
member of Probus and Mencap.
Mr Simpson, who died at Langwith Lodge Nursing Home,
leaves his wife, Mrs Sheila Simpson, son Andrew, two daughters,
Jenny and Sarah, grandson Robert and his brother and
sister-in-law, Norman and Margaret.

Society and Langwith Lodge Nursing Home.
The service was conducted by Rev A. Fletcher and Rev P.
Lawlor, and arrangements were by G. A. Townroe&Son.
