David Comery

Derby County Football Club supporter Mr David Comery (62), of Lime Close, Pinxton, was cremated at Mansfield after a service at St Helen's Church, Pinxton, which was filled with family and friends.
Born at Alfreton and educated at the town's Mortimer Wilson School, Mr Comery had lived locally all his life. A foundry worker for 15 years at Stanton Ironworks, he then became a miner for 25 years, working at Bentinck Colliery, from where he retired about 10 years ago due to ill health.
He enjoyed watching sport, socialising with friends, DIY and was a supporter of Pinxton Panther Jazz Band.
Mr Comery, who died at his home, leaves his wife, Mrs Pat Comery, daughter Julie, sons Ian and Lee, granddaughter Jade and three grandsons, Nathan, Bailey and Joey.
