Mr Dezso Vadas of Robert Avenue, Mansfield was cremated at Mansfield Crematorium, following a service in the chapel.
Born in Liter, Hungary and a resident locally for 69 years, Dezso worked for over 40 years as a Precision Engineer and Centre Lathe Turner, at many of the engineering firms in the Mansfield area, until his retirement on December 31, 2000.
He enjoyed working on many DIY projects over the years and liked listening to his many records on his extensive Hi Fi music system. He loved watching sports on the television, especially football and supported Stags with his wife.
Dezso who passed away at King's Mill Hospital, on February 1, 2026, shortly after his 90th birthday leaves his wife June, daughters Susan Bishop and Alison Vadas, five grandchildren and one step grandchild.

Fuller, Mr R. Pearce, Mrs T. Greenway, Mr D. Barson, Mrs H. Barson, Mr D. Bartlett, Mr J. Slade, Mr J. Slade, Mrs J. Williams, Mr and Mrs Abrahall; Mrs J. Benson (rep family); Mr T. Slack (rep family), Mr M. Emberson, Mrs J. Emberson, Mr P. McBeth, Mr D. McBeth, Mrs H. Rhodes, Mrs C. Mawn.
Floral tributes were from close family and from family in Hungary. Donations received in lieu of flowers were for Cancer Research UK.
The service was conducted by Mrs Valerie Pearce (Dezso's niece) and arrangements were by Ivan Bramley.
