E. MARDELL Obituary


Life-long local resident Mrs Eileen Mary Mardell (87), of North Crescent, Clipstone, was cremated at Mansfield after a service at the village's All Saints' Church. Her ashes were later buried in Clipstone cemetery.
Born at Forest Town, Mrs Mardell was educated at Samuel Barlow School, Clipstone.
Mrs Mardell, who was retired, enjoyed visiting Malta and numerous places in the UK. She also enjoyed knitting, gardening, doing jigsaws and wordsearch puzzles.
Mrs Mardell, who died at her daughter's home in Clipstone, leaves her daughter, Mrs Christine Pearson, three grandchildren, Deborah, Mark and Gavin, and three great-grandchildren, Amy, Charlotte and Luke.

Davidson (representing Rumbles Catering Project), Mr and Mrs R. Smith, Mr and Mrs K. Poxon, Mrs J. Pettitt, Mrs S. Mitchell, Mrs M. Manning, Mrs I. Rudd, Mr A. Giles, Mrs B. Greig, Shelia Widdison, Mr and Mrs A. Trgg; Mr D. Straw (representing Mrs D. Straw).

Donations received in lieu of flowers from family and friends are for the Urology Department, King's Mill Hospital, Sutton.
The service was conducted by the Rev M. Garratt, and arrangements were by W. S. Ingham & Son Ltd.
