A service at Mansfield cemetery chapel preceded burial at the town's cemetery of Mrs Jacqueline Frankland (57), of Layton Avenue, Mansfield. Born at Harrogate and educated at Birstwith Primary School, Harrogate High School and Ripon and York Saint John College, she had been a resident of the area for 36 years. For 33 years, Mrs Frankland had worked as a teacher at various schools in the area, including Bolsover Comprehensive School, Cumerblands Middle School and then Ladybrook Primary School. Her interests included solving puzzles, sewing, reading and quizzes.She also loved spending time with her family. Mrs Frankland, who died at King's Mill Hospital, Sutton, leaves her husband Mr John David Frankland, daughter Cathy, son Andrew, grandchildren Lucy, Jack, Charles and Sophia and her mother Mrs Beatrice Rush, of Peterborough.
