Bornat Laurel Villa, Selston,
Mrs Hind had been a life-long
local resident. She attended
Portland Row and Bagthorpe
schools and was later housekeeper
for her parents, Percy
and Rebecca Jepson. She married
Kenneth Hind and had one
daughter, Mary. She was a lifelong
member of the Church of
Christ and held many offices in
the church. She enjoyed music and played the organ and piano.
Cooking was her other passion, cake making for church
functions and arranging anniversary teas for the church.
Mrs Hind leaves her daughter, Mary, grandchildren David
and Alison and great-grandchildren - Joseph, Benjamin,
Lucy, James and Luke and her sister, Peggy Baker.
