J. TAYLOR Obituary

A service at Mansfield
crematorium chapel preceded
cremation of Mr James
Ernest Taylor (90), of Braemar
Road, Newlands, Forest
Town.
Born and educated at Blyth,
Northumberland, Mr Taylor
had been a local resident for
46 years.
He retired in the early 1980s
as senior overman at Clipstone
Colliery after 40 years in the
mining industry.
His interests included fishing,
watch repairing, railway
modelling and was an accomplished
artist. He also enjoyed dancing and holidays, especially
cruises.
Mr Taylor, who died at King's Mill Hospital, Sutton,
leaves his partner, Marjory Cragg, son Frederick, daughters
Loretta and Roberts, six grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.

Floral tributes were from the family. Donations were
for Lincolnshire&Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance Service.
The service was conducted by Canon T. Evans, and arrangements
were by A. W. Lymn.
