Jack Ellson

RETIRED painter and decorator Mr Jack Ellson (85), of Sutton, was cremated at Mansfield after a service at the crematorium chapel. Born at Sheffield, Mr Ellson, had been a local resident for 75 years. Until retirement 21 years ago he had been a painter and decorator and his interests included fishing, gardening, his family and water colour and oil painting. Mr Ellson, who died at John Eastwood Hospice, Sutton, on the 20th June, leaves his wife, Margaret, sons Robert and David, daughters Linda and Vicki, 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
