Mansfield resident Mrs
Mary Armstrong (87), of
Watnall Crescent, was cremated
at the town's crematorium
after a service at the
chapel.
Born and educated at Mansfield,
Mrs Armstrong was a
life-long local resident and had
worked as a catering assistant
at Derby Road Technical
College for 20 years until her
retirement in 1984.
She loved being with her
family and enjoyed knitting.
Mrs Armstrong, who died
at King's Mill Hospital, Sutton,
leaves her daughter, Pat, son Peter, two granddaughters,
one grandson and four great-granddaughters.
