Mrs Mary Simpson, aged 93, of St Mary's Care Home, Main Street, Blidworth, was cremated at Mansfield Crematorium, following a service at
St Patrick's R.C. Church, Forest Town.
Born in Blidworth and a lifelong local resident, Mary retired at the age of 55.
Her interests included sewing, reading, travelling, socialising and she was a member of the Catholic Church.
Mary who passed away at the care home on January 9, 2026, was predeceased by her husband Raymond. She leaves daughters Sharon and Helen.
