I had the pleasure of meeting Tom when I was doing my nursing training in 1967 and have been friends for the last 58 years. He was a true gentleman and a treasured friend.
Tom had a very dry sense of humour and always had a story to tell when you saw him. Tom along with Laura always welcomed you with open arms in the good times and the bad. Tom and Laura were great support to me when I lost my husband who had also been a good friend of them both.
Tom was always such good company whenever you were with him.
A warm, kind and caring man who it was an honour to know. He will be greatly missed.
