Mr Alan Rushton of Chesterfield has passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, aged 89.
Born in Chesterfield and a lifelong local resident, Alan was a mechanical fitter at British Furnaces, until his retirement.
His main interest was DIY and he was a horse race fan.
Alan was predeceased by his wife Pamela. He leaves children Alan, Julie and Dean, their partners Kate, Andrew and Lisa, grandchildren Adam and Michael.
The funeral service takes place on Thursday, October 9, 2025, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 15.10hrs.
