Albert Fletcher from Brimington has passed away on November 28, 2025, aged 82.
Born in Hollingwood and a lifelong local resident, Albert was a metallurgist in the laboratories of Staveley Works.
His interests included golf, cricket, darts, pool and socialising at Brimington Club.
Albert leaves his wife Val, daughters Julie and Lisa and granddaughter Ruby-May.
The funeral service takes place on Monday, December 15, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 3.10pm.
Any donations in memory of Albert will go to The Alzheimer's Society, these many be given on the day or can be sent to B. Hattersley & Sons, 211 Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield S40 2BA
