Mrs Ann Saweard Blackham of Linacre Woods, Chesterfield has passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, aged 82.
Born in Chesterfield and a lifelong resident of Chesterfield, Matlock and Darley Dale. At 17, Ann worked at Robinsons, Chesterfield for two years, then at Paton & Baldwins, Matlock and latterly at Remploy until her retirement.
Ann loved watching old movies, spending time with family and friends, travelling, shopping, reading and puzzles. Profoundly deaf since two years of age she attended Chesterfield Deaf Club.
Ann was predeceased by her husband Alan. She leaves sister Gail, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
The funeral service takes place on Wednesday, October 29, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 10.50am.
