Mrs Iris Ann Wynn, known as Ann of Springbank Care Home, Ashgate Road, Chesterfield has passed away aged 82.
Born in Chesterfield and a lifelong local resident, Ann worked locally as a cleaning lady, on the fruit and vegetable stall and nut stall in Chesterfield market hall, she ran various working men's clubs in the area before retiring.
She loved holidays with family and friends at Skegness, enjoyed playing bingo regularly at The Mecca, Chesterfield.
Ann leaves her children Jane, Roy, Mark, Karen and their partners, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral service takes place on Friday, November 14, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 3.30pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ashgate Hospice in memory of Ann.
