Mrs Avril Barlow
Dunston
Mrs Avril Marie Barlow of Dunston has passed away at Northern General Hospital, Sheffield, aged 75.
Born in Chesterfield and a lifelong local resident, Avril was well known as a respected hard worker in the retail industry, she retired aged 56, due to ill health.
Her interests included reading, holidays, especially Skegness, Torquay and previously Benidorm. She loved days out to local towns and cities, but most of all her main interest was her family.
Avril leaves her husband Richard, son Christopher, daughter Suzanne, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild, her sister Cynthia and brother Lloyd.
The funeral service takes place at Chesterfield Crematorium, on Tuesday, October 14, at 10.30am.
Please raise a glass in memory of Avril, as it was her wish not to have a wake. Family flowers only.
