Mrs Barbara Watson
Newbold
Mrs Doris Barbara Watson, known as Barbara of Newbold has passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, aged 87.
Born in Old Whittington and a lifelong local resident, Barbara worked at John Turners, Whittington Moor Infants School and The Valet Dry Cleaners.
Her interests included flower arranging, tai chi, yoga, craft class, socialising with friends, family holidays and travel with her husband.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Alwyn. She leaves son David, daughter-in-law Helen, grandchildren John and Stephanie.
The funeral service takes place on Tuesday, October 28, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 2.30pm.
No flowers, donations only to Marie Curie.
