Holme Hall
Mr Dennis Barry Mellor, of Holme Hall, Chesterfield, has passed away at home, aged 81.
A lifelong Chesterfield resident, Barry was a self-employed builder (DB Mellor Builder), until his retirement in 2014, aged 72.
His interests included visiting Whitby, staying in his caravan, spending time with family, gardening, model trains all since his retirement. He previously enjoyed holidays abroad and in his motorhome.
Barry leaves his wife Nita, children Robert, Lez, Paul, Darren, David, Kerry and Kathryn, 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Tony.
The funeral service takes place on Tuesday, March 26, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 13.10hrs, followed by a wake at The Woodside, Ashgate Road.
