Newbold
Betty Thomas of Newbold, has passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, on October 2, 2025, aged 88 years.
Born in New Tupton, Chesterfield and a lifelong local resident, Betty was a Clerical Assistant and a Littlewoods Pools Collector/Agent.
Her interests included sewing, needlework, holidays, baking and family time.
Betty was predeceased by her husband Max. She leaves sons David, Craig and Ian, daughters-in-law Tracy, April and Lynn, grandchildren Kirsty, Scott, Kelly, Michael, Stephen and Annabelle, great-grandchild Morgan Annabelle.
The funeral service takes place on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, ChesterfieldCrematorium, at 12.10pm.
Donations will go towards Ashgate Hospice and Alzheimer's Society.
