Christine Yapp Obituary
Newbold
Mrs Christine Anne Yapp of Newbold, has passed away at home, aged 81.
A lifelong Chesterfield resident, Christine was a bank clerk at RBS for approximately 35 years and did voluntary work with Social Services and the Royal British Legion.
Her interests included music, dancing, family holidays, Ladies Club, Probus and socialising with friends. She also loved gardening and was a real Rock 'n' Roll dancer. She was a County hurdles and swimming champion in her teens, representing Derbyshire in hurdles at National Championships.
Christine leaves her husband Graham, sons Damon and Christian, grandchildren Megan, James, Charlie, Oliver and great-grandchild Aubrie.
The funeral service takes place on Monday, August 5, 2024, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 10.30am.
Donations to Ashgate Hospice. Attendees not obliged to wear dark colours for the funeral.

Long time since saw you both as we left Chesterfield in 1971.
Remember the good old days especially football. Christine always seemed a happy and family orientated person. Sure that she will have left the family with many memories and will be sadly missed.
