Mr Christopher Buxton
Inkersall
Mr Christopher Andrew Buxton of Inkersall has passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, aged 76.
Born in Staveley and a lifelong local resident, Chris was a teacher at Clowne Boughton Lane (Heritage) School, all his working life for over 30 years.
He had a lifelong interest in theatre organs and loved listening to their music. He was a steam fair enthusiast and especially interested in showman's traction engines and gallopers.
Chris leaves behind his sister Julie and her husband Steve, nephew Adam, niece Emma, her husband Martin and son Oscar.
The funeral service takes place on Friday, March 27, Staveley Methodist Church, at 11.45am, followed by cremation at Chesterfield Crematorium, 12.45pm.

So sorry to hear about Christopher. I was at school with him from infants through to leaving. He was a lovely guy with a beautiful gentle soul.

Mr Buxton was my favourite teacher @Boughton Lane school ,Clowne back in the day...
I remember getting my Uncle Glynne to do a large cartoon teaching picture painting of him for his birthday ! Then having the trouble of taking the artwork on the school bus from Whitwell to clowne ..good times .
