It is with sadness that we announce the death of Mr Clement Alwyn Lee (known as Clem) of Tapton Chesterfield, aged 98, who passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025 at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
Predeceased by his wife Mavis and niece Jane, he will be lovingly remembered by his great-nieces Kelly and Kate, along with their husbands Ryan and Matt, son-in-law Steve and great great- nephew and niece Alex and Esmé and friends.
A lifelong resident of Chesterfield, Clem worked for 45 years as a joiner for Whittington Engineering Company PLC, until redundancy in 1987, followed by a period of caring for his wife.
In his younger years he was a member of the Drum Corps and enjoyed holidays both in the UK and abroad, keeping canaries and spending time with friends and family.
A funeral service will be held at Chesterfield Crematorium Chapel on Thursday, November 6, at 10:30am, followed by burial at Brimington Cemetery.
