Mr David Booth
Brampton
Mr David (Dave) Booth of Brampton has sadly passed away at Ashgate Hospice aged 74.
He lived most of his life in Chesterfield and spent the majority of his career as a Printer, working for The Derbyshire Times and Robinsons. He also worked part time in catering at Chesterfield and Mansfield Football Clubs for many years.
He was a keen gardener, growing his own produce, an avid reader and also enjoyed cooking, doing the crossword and watching football. In his younger years he played rugby and later enjoyed watching his grandson learning the sport.
He leaves behind children Melanie and Russell, grandson George, brothers Pete and Malc, sister Liz and ex-wife Teresa.
The funeral service takes place on Thursday, October 23, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 12.30pm.
The family request that everyone wears colourful clothing.
