Mr David Cook of Chesterfield has passed away at home, aged 72.
Born in Holmgate, Clay Cross and a lifelong local resident, David was a foundry worker at William Lee in Dronfield for 16 years, until his retirement.
His interests included horse racing, football, watching most sports, singing on the karaoke and spending time with his family.
David leaves his wife Shirley, daughter Michelle, son Ryan and grandson Josh.
The funeral service takes place on March 30, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 10.30am, afterwards at The Three Cottages, S41 0JJ.
