Hasland
Mr David Alan Turner of Hasland has passed away at The Green, Hasland, on March 14, 2025, aged 79.
Born in Lidgate, nr Holmesfield and a lifelong resident of Derbyshire, David started working for Carbolite Furnaces in 1964. He worked there for 45 years, until his retirement. He started in accounts and worked up to being the Export Sales Manager.
He loved spending time with his family, going on holidays and watching lots of football.
David leaves his wife Irene, daughter Kelly, sons Richard and Christopher, daughters-in-law Helen, Nicola and Vicki, grandchildren Freddie, Ruby and grand dog Eric, brothers Colin and Michael, sisters-in-law Sue and Irene, and sister Susan.
The funeral service takes place on Thursday, April 10, 2025, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 11.30am.
