Mr Denis O'Sullivan of Riddings, formerly of Tunnel Cottage, South Wingfield Park, has passed away at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham, aged 87.
Born in Mullingar, Westmeath and a resident locally for 67 years, Denis was a Dental Surgeon.
His interests included rugby, cricket, reading and The Times crossword.
Denis was predeceased by his wife Wendy. He leaves stepdaughters Deirdre, Dara, and Anne-Marie, and granddaughter Amy.
The funeral service takes place on Friday, September 5, Christ the King R/C Church, Alfreton, at 10.45am.
