Derek Sharpe Obituary
Mr Derek Sharpe of Bolsover has passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, aged 85 years. He was a lifelong resident of Bolsover.
Derek was an engineer at Coalite from 1946 to 1996 50 years, served his national service in Reme from 1949 to 1951.
His hobbies included coarse fishing, darts, dancing at the sportsdrome club, a pint in The Pillar of Rock, he enjoyed holidays in Zante and Benidorm and UK coach tours.
Derek was husband to the late Miriam (Mim) who died in 2002. He leaves his son Michael, daughter-in-law Pam, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
