Mr Donald Whiteside
Brampton
Mr Donald Whiteside, known as Don, of Brampton, has passed away peacefully after a short illness, at Spring Bank Care Home, aged 70.
Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and a resident of Chesterfield since 1966. Don was an electrician at Markham Colliery, then went on to work all over the world.
Don loved to party and was well known for his talent at the pub quiz and crosswords.
Don was predeceased by a brother David. He leaves son Ashley, brothers Paul and Ian, sisters Jane and Julie, plus many nieces and nephews.
He is now in Heaven with his beloved parents Tommy and Peggy.
The funeral service takes place on Monday, April 15, 2024, Chesterfield Crematorium, at 1.30pm, followed by a celebration of Don's life at the Rose & Crown Pub, at Brampton.
