Doris Margaret Barthorpe of Ashgate Heights, Chesterfield, has passed away at home on September 1, 2025, aged 89.
Born in Staveley and a lifelong local resident, Doris was a catering assistant at Chesterfield Royal and Scarsdale hospitals, and previously was a manager at Burlington Grill.
Her interests included spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, watching television and reading.
Doris was predeceased by her son David. She leaves daughters Diane and Dawn, grandchildren Steven, Timothy, Michelle, Jaimie, Thomas, Emma, Elise and Leah, great-grandchildren Bella, Rose, Lottie, Arielia, Bobby, Amelia, Jude, Eddie, Ottilie and Rory.
A private family funeral service has taken place.
